Geometric Louis Vuitton - Venice
Recently I visited Venice and found this striking geometric scheme by Louis Vuitton down a winding Venetian lane. The scheme is bright and bold and adds humour with the miniature male statues leaning against the bags. More of an art installation than a scheme designed to sell, the display features an unusually bright colour scheme for this time of year with most stores featuring autumnal shades.

Louis Vuitton - Bond St
This is the current scheme at the Louis Vuitton maison on Londons Bond Street. Featuring graphic red and white stripes and zig zags the scheme focuses on travel, with hot air balloons and iconic monogram suitcases. The mannequin styling reflects the cold climate here in London rather than pushing the new spring garments like so many other retailers right now. The metallic background provides the luxurious finishing touch to the scheme and reflects the bold red and white further. The maison is a huge tourist attraction, as in Bond St itself, which allows the schemes to be less product driven and more dramatic, emphasising the stores position as a luxury shopping destination.
