Colour Blocking and PopArt at Topshop

This is not the main window at Topshop but is definetly the most interesting one. Inspired by artist Piet Modrian the scheme featurs primary colours and black + white to create a striking and bold display. The mannequin styling focuses on a similar bright colour palette aswell as pop art inspired pieces and directly reflects the style of its customers.

The scheme continues in store including large cut out shapes suspended from the ceiling in bright block colours. As well as mannequins suspended from the ceiling also! This looks a bit messy and cluttered and I'm not really sure of the purpose of the mannequins. In the past the store have used mannequins suspended in the same way but held up by balloons which made a bit more sense.

Maison Martin Margiela masks at Topshop Oxford Circus

The Maison Martin Margiela Haute Couture AW 12 show featured these crazy jewelled masks! This season they have been replicated on the mannequins in Topshop's mega flagship in Oxford Street. This store always make such an effort with their mannequins!
